Privacy notice

Lars Group runs this website and decides how the information sent through it is used. Under India's data protection law, that makes Lars Group the data fiduciary: the party responsible for your personal data.

To ask anything about your data, use the contact form.

Two forms send information to Lars Group. They collect only the fields listed here.

Enquiry form

On the home page, the contact page and property pages.

• Your message, if you write one
• The listing's reference, if you sent the form from a property page

Callback request form

• Your full name
• Your mobile number
• Your email address, if you give one
• The day and time window you prefer, if you choose them
• Your preferred location and budget, if you choose them
• Your message, if you write one
• The listing's reference, if you came from a property page
• The service you asked about, if you came from a service on the services page

Added by the site

• Which form you used and the page you sent it from
• The date and time your request was received
• A reference number for your request, shown to you when it is saved
• A random key that stops a double click saving the same request twice
• A link to your earlier request, if you sent one in the previous 30 minutes

The forms do not ask for identity documents, payment details or your address. The site does not store your IP address or browser details with your request.

• Your mobile number is used only to contact you about that request.
• Your email address is used only to reply to you.
• Your requirement, preferences and message are used to answer your request.

Nothing you send is used for marketing. There is no newsletter and no mailing list, so sending a form never signs you up to anything.

Each request is saved in the site's database. The confirmation on screen appears only after the save has succeeded; if it fails, the form says so and keeps what you typed.

The site does not send any email at present. Requests are kept in the database only.

Hosting provider

Your IP address, the pages you request, the time and your browser type, in server logs.

On every page request. This draft does not yet name the provider.

Every form has a hidden field that people do not see but automated scripts tend to fill in. The site also checks how soon the form was sent after it was opened; that time is used only for the check and is not stored. A submission that fails either check is not saved.

The public pages of this site set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising scripts.

The administration pages, used only by people Lars Group authorises, set one cookie, named lg_admin. It keeps the person who signed in signed in. It is set and sent only on pages under /admin, and it expires 8 hours after signing in.

The public pages store one item in your browser, and only if you save a map choice in Cookie settings. The item is the key lg-consent-v1 in local storage, and it records whether maps may load automatically. The public pages keep nothing else in your browser.

Property pages can show a map from OpenStreetMap. A map loads only when you press “Load map”, or automatically if you chose that in Cookie settings. When it loads, OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and the area the map shows.

Each property page also has an “Open in Google Maps” link. Google receives nothing from it unless you follow it.

Fonts and photographs are served from this site's own address. Loading a page makes no requests to font or image services.

The company that hosts the site may record your IP address, the pages you request, the time and your browser type. It keeps these in server logs to run and protect the site. This draft does not yet name the hosting provider.

Browsers can send this site a report when a page loads something its security policy does not allow. The site keeps only a count of which rule was involved and which site the blocked item came from. It records no personal data from these reports.

Lars Group has not yet set a retention period for enquiry records. Until one is published here, you can ask for your record to be deleted at any time.

You can ask to see the information held about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Use the contact form, say which form you used and, if you have it, give your reference number.

If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. The Act described below asks you to raise the matter with Lars Group first.
